This project brings together communities during the month of Ramadan to share the joy of breaking fast and to promote better understanding, unity in cultural understanding and harmony. Food is a powerful way to bring people together. Sharing of meals during Ramadan is one of the ways to promote community building, empathy, respect, and love among people of different cultures and backgrounds. “Whoever gives food to a fasting person with which to break his fast, will have a reward equal to his, without it detracting in the slightest from the reward of the fasting person.” (Hadith At-Tirmidhi)
